ICU RN Float Pool Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time float pool position. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday rotations required. This is a 180-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Float across multiple clinical units including ICU, Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Telemetry
• Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage confidential patient information with discretion
• Coordinate care across multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Participate in 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (through AHA or RQI)
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of start
• CPI certification required within 90 days of start
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
• Ability to cross-train across multiple units
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation

You will receive $2,316.60 weekly. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles all travel logistics and credentialing support throughout your assignment.
