ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Must be available to work every other weekend (EOW)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU and ER experience required
• Ability to float to the following units: North 2, North 3, ICU/CCU, and Emergency Department
• Cardiac catheterization experience preferred
• Use the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
• Collect and report critical patient data and values to physician in a timely manner
• Assess appropriate lab and diagnostic data and document findings of physical assessment
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient need
• Advocate on behalf of patients and their families
• Perform interventions according to patient need and hospital policy
• Evaluate patient outcomes in relation to established goals
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and exercise utmost care when interacting with patients
• Demonstrate professional demeanor in interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff
• Current New York State nursing license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, Moderate Sedation, NIHSS
