ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work every other weekend
• Minimum 2 years of ICU and ER experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Current licensure to practice in New York State required
• Use the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
• Collect and report critical patient data and values to physicians in a timely manner
• Assess appropriate lab and diagnostic data and document findings of physical assessments
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs
• Perform interventions according to patient need and hospital policy
• Evaluate patient outcomes in relation to established goals
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and exercise utmost care when interacting with patients
• Maintain a professional demeanor in interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff
• Float to the following units: North 2, North 3, ICU/CCU, or ED
• Cardiac catheterization experience preferred
• Shared housing available at a cost
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, Moderate Sedation, NIHSS
