Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract position
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend scheduling required
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Work on a 32-bed private room telemetry unit on the 4th floor
• Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding as needed
• Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, respiratory experience including advanced airways and oxygen management, and cardiac drips (non-titrated)
• ACLS/ALS certification preferred
• CPR certification required
• Navy scrubs required
• Work with GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, and GE B450 Bedside monitors
• EMR system: Meditech
• Typical procedures include stress tests, heart catheterization, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
• Must be a team player
