SLP Therapy Job in Sacramento, CA

Sutter Care at Home - Sacramento is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for home health services. You will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in their home environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient assessments and delivering individualized treatment plans
• Evaluating patient progress and adjusting care as needed
• Building confidence and cooperation with patients, families, support groups, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams through attentive communication and competent care
• Providing patient and family education on speech and language goals
• Supervising and training clinical assistants, aides, and assigned students
• Maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and patient safety
• Recognizing and reporting signs of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
• Working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Position details: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 91-day assignment beginning August 10, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,678.40.

Requirements:

• Current California SLP License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Current driver's license and auto insurance
• Home health experience preferred but not required
