Med Surg RN Job in Zanesville, OH

You'll work as an RN on the Respiratory unit at Genesis Healthcare System in Zanesville, Ohio, on a 91-day travel assignment starting September 21, 2026. This role offers a stable schedule and the chance to build skills across multiple acute-care settings.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• $2,111 per week

Role & Responsibilities

You'll provide direct patient care on the Respiratory unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg departments including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. Your clinical judgment and assessment skills will be essential as you manage patient care across these diverse areas.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license
• Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated Telemetry competency (tested on day one)
• Current Epic EMR proficiency (must be documented in referral)
• Active BLS certification
