Physical Therapist Job in Aventura, FL

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in the Physical Therapy department located on the first floor of the East Tower.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Assignment duration: 84 weeks
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,760.76

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Conduct 1.5-hour individual treatment sessions with 1:1 patient ratios
• Operate specialized therapy equipment including treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
• Document patient care using the Meditech system
• Attend team conferences as scheduled
• Work on a rotating weekend schedule

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Florida
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting

Work Environment:

You will work alongside approximately 40 staff members in the Physical Therapy department. Light gray scrubs are required. Two positions are available due to departmental vacancies, offering flexibility within a collaborative clinical team.
