Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Watertown, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 93-day travel assignment at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. You will work 8-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with weekend, call, and holiday availability required.

About the Role

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform technical duties as scrub personnel, including precise and efficient reaction to all situations
• Create and maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation used in the clinical operating room setting
• May be asked to precept new staff

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification
• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program
• Current BLS certification
• Orthopedic surgical experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for on-call shifts

Compensation and Timeline

Weekly pay: $1,232. Assignment duration: 93 days. Start date: November 23, 2026.
