Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Float Pool Adult

Job Details:

• Float to all Med Surg units including cardiology, medicine, orthopedics, surgical, neurology, and oncology
• Work in a fast-paced 32-bed unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, with willingness to take up to 1:8 when needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Remote telemonitoring responsibilities included
• Required equipment experience: IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, PCA pumps, lifts, gait belts, and CO2 monitoring
• Required line management skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, and vascular device access/care
• Required orthopedic, med surg, and oncology skills: traction, CPM, epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vac
• Required cardiac skills: remote telemetry and telemetry interpretation
• Required airway skills: CPAP/BiPAP and trach care
• Must provide current CEU documentation during compliance process
• Position may be subject to downstaffing of 36 to 48 hours within a 13-week contract based on weekly schedule
