Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts are required
• Schedule is determined by manager - block scheduling is not available
• Must work the schedule as given
• Unit operates on a Virtual Integrated Care (VIC) nursing model
• 24-bed telemetry unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) present at a 12:1 ratio
• Common diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg tele patients
• Must be able to read telemetry strips (monitor techs monitor patients but RNs must be able to read strips)
• Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients required
• Strong communication and time management skills required
• Floating to all med/surg units is required
• Charting system: Paragon
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
• BSN not required
