Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule & Pay

• 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekdays and weekends; 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• $2,431 weekly

Your Role

You'll care for adult patients with a ratio of 1:5–7 on a unit maintaining a daily census of approximately 30 patients. You'll manage a range of clinical skills including BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, CVA care, feeding tube management, high-flow nasal cannula, ABG and dysrhythmia interpretation, PCA management, peripheral and PICC line care, phlebotomy, pre/post cardiac catheterization and hemodialysis management, renal failure management, tracheostomy care, and wound care including wound vacs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• West Virginia or Compact nursing license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (American Heart Association)

Support & Resources

You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The facility uses the Cerner charting system.

What to Know

Scrubs are not provided. The facility maintains strict attendance expectations and will tolerate no more than 2–3 call-offs per contract.
