Med Surg Oncology RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical/surgical overflow at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x12 night shifts
• Weekdays and every other weekend throughout the contract
• Blocked schedule available
• Weekly pay: $2,431
• Start date: August 24, 2026

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics, including chemotherapy administration. Patient ratios are 1:5–6 across all shifts. IV start skills and chemotherapy administration are required. You will use the Cerner charting system.

Requirements

• Current WV or Compact nursing license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• ONS Chemo/Bio certification preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Minimum 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years

What to Bring

Scrubs are not provided. Burgundy and/or white scrubs are required.

Support and Expectations

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility will tolerate 2–3 call-offs per contract.
