Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a night shift position offering 4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 91-day contract starting October 5, 2026. You'll earn $2,301 weekly.

Your schedule includes weekdays and weekends, with three weekend shifts per four-week scheduling period. You'll care for adult patients with a typical ratio of 1:5-7 and work with a daily census of approximately 30 patients. The unit uses Cerner for charting and maintains interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications

Required clinical skills:

• BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care
• Chest tube management, CVA care, and feeding tube care
• Heparin protocols and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) management
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Isolation precautions, PPE compliance, and telemetry monitoring
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration, PCA management
• Peripheral line and PICC line care, phlebotomy, and IV insertion/maintenance
• Pre/post cardiac catheterization care and pre/post hemodialysis management
• Renal failure management, surgical drain care, and tracheostomy care
• Rapid response and code team participation, wound care, and wound vac management

Note that scrubs are not provided by the facility. The attendance policy allows for 2–3 call-offs per contract term.
