Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x12 night shifts on weekdays and weekends
• Weekly pay: $2,281
• Patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Daily unit census of 25–30 patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Travel experience not required

Clinical Skills

You will care for adult patients and manage blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, heparin and insulin protocols, dysrhythmia and ABG interpretation, PICC line management, peripheral line care, wound care and wound vac, tracheostomy care, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions with PPE.

Support and Resources

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.

• Facility will tolerate 2–3 call-offs per contract
