Opportunity:

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed observation unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Day shift patient ratio is 1:5 (stretch 1:6) and night shift patient ratio is 1:6 (stretch 1:7)
• Perform typical unit procedures including telemetry monitoring, Foley insertion, and IV starts
• Utilize Telemetry equipment, Baxter pumps, and Cerner/PowerChart EMR system
• Required to float to other med-surg levels of care including A3 West Med-Surg, A4 West Trauma, A4 East Renal, A5 West Adult Medicine, A6 West Neuro, J6 Ortho, A7 West, K6 Spine, and K8 General Surgery
• Work every other weekend
• Dress code requires all navy, all white, or white top with navy bottoms
• Required certifications: BLS and Telemetry Certification
• Preferred certification: Med-Surge Certification
