Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call required after shift until 6:30 AM, including possible weekends; response time of 45 minutes
• Average of one 12-hour weekday call shift and one weekend Saturday and Sunday shift per 6-week schedule (approximately 5-6 call shifts per 6-week period)
• If on call past midnight, up to 8 hours of rest time provided before potential callback for lunches, breaks, or shift relief
• Float within skill set level as needed to meet facility needs
• Circulating required; scrubbing optional
• Must have extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and abdominal organ transplant procedures
• Must be proficient in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, and intra-abdominal transplant procedures
• Patient diagnoses include Neurosurgery (cranial and spine), Orthopedic Spine, ENT, Transplant, and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery
• Special equipment includes Neuro/Spine/ENT-related tools, robotics, transplant, and HPB surgery equipment
• Required skills include: ALIF, Anterior Cervical Fusion, Craniotomy, Heart, Kidney, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Laryngectomy, Liver, Lumbar Fusion, Lung, Organ Donation, Ortho/Spine, Radical Neck Dissection, Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy, Whipple, and XLIF
• Treat patients across all age groups including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Average daily census of 20-28 patients across 17 rooms
• Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted only with Neuro/Spine/ENT experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
