ICU Registered Nurse Job in Portage, WI

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 11-bed Intensive Care Unit in Portage, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel contract beginning December 7th, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly (excluding orientation)
• Weekend requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends as needed; night schedule requires Friday/Saturday coverage
• Holiday rotation required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• No on-call or backup requirements; additional shifts available for sick call coverage

Compensation and Location

• $2,506 weekly pay
• You must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Clinical Role

You will provide care to medical and surgical patients, including those recovering from joint replacements and general surgical procedures. You may float to sister facilities in Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview as needed.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Competency in both ICU and Med/Surg settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC); current at start date
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Dark blue scrubs required

Time Off Policy

The facility will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off during the contract period.
