Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend STEMI coverage required with expected participation in STEMI call when scheduled
• On-call required Monday through Saturday for post PCI patients that need to be brought back into the Cath Lab
• Call required 2-3 days per week
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Cath Lab team consists of 3 full-time nurses with 1 procedure room and a pre/post procedure area with 4 bays
• Pre/post area staffed by 2 registered nurses
• Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 4 patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Required skills include circulating procedures, monitoring procedural sedation, procedural sedation administration, and scrubbing procedures
• Charting system experience with Epic preferred; Cerner experience also preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
