ED RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acute and critical cases across all acuity levels. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, evidence-based care.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Compensation & Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,384
• 90-day contract
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Location: Des Moines, IA

Requirements

You must hold an active RN license in Iowa. Current emergency department experience and strong clinical assessment skills are essential for this role.
