Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. You'll work 3x12 night shifts and earn $2,382 weekly.

Role & Assignment: You'll provide respiratory care across pediatric units, with primary placement in PICU or NICU, with floating required between NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics Acute Care. You may also float to an affiliate hospital as facility needs dictate. Your home unit will be assigned upon arrival but may change based on operational demands.

Scheduling: The schedule is 3x12 or 4x12 shifts with every other weekend requirement. You must work two out of three paired holidays: November 27–28, December 24–25, or December 31–January 1.

Required Experience & Credentials:

• Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience
• Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years
• NICU or PICU experience required
• L&D experience required (primary placement in L&D)
• Active RRT (NBRC) credential
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Indiana State License (temporary license accepted if permanent application submitted)
• PALS preferred; NRP required for L&D placement (obtainable post-offer)
• Education must be CoARC accredited and regionally accredited by CHEA

Clinical Skills: BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care and management, nitric oxide (iNO), arterial blood gas interpretation, pediatric critical care, pulmonary hygiene, nasal airway suctioning, oral/nasal suctioning, and Servo U ventilator operation.

System & Patient Population: Cerner charting system (preferred). You'll work with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. First-time travelers accepted; experience from Level I adult facilities also considered.
