Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts on a straight weekend schedule with additional block options available, excluding Tuesday through Thursday.

Assignment Details:

• Primary placement in Labor & Delivery with floating required between NICU and Pediatrics Acute Care
• Your home unit will be NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics and will be assigned upon arrival based on facility need
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must work 2 out of 3 paired holidays: 11/27 & 11/28, 12/24 & 12/25, and 12/31 & 1/1
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,382

Required Qualifications:

• Current RRT (NBRC) credential
• Indiana State License in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years NICU or PICU experience
• Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years (strong clinicians with Level 1 Adult Trauma facility experience may be considered)
• Labor & Delivery experience required as primary placement is in L&D
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT (NBRC)
• PALS certification preferred
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA

Essential Clinical Skills:

• Aerosol setup and inhaled medication administration
• CPAP/BiPAP management
• Mechanical ventilation weaning
• Extubation support
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation
• Nitric oxide therapy
• NICU procedures
• Nasal airway placement and suctioning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cerner charting system
