Telemetry RN Job in Chandler, AZ

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry float pool position. This is a 91-day travel contract beginning November 9, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You will earn $2,229.12 per week.

Role Overview

You will float between Telemetry and Med-Surg units as the first point of flex staffing. Depending on your skill level, you may also float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, holding areas including the Cath Lab, ER, and observation floors. You will work across both Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles apart), with unit and campus assignments typically given 1.5 hours prior to shift start. Mid-shift floats to different units are possible, though rare. You will clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival at the other.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 on Telemetry units and 1:4 on Med-Surg units
• Titrate cardiac drips independently
• Interpret EKGs and participate in centralized telemetry monitoring across units
• Work 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays as required

Requirements and Certifications

• Current RN license valid in Arizona
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (maximum 2 attempts, within 48 hours of offer)
• Pass a pass/fail Simulation Lab on your first day of orientation
• BSN is not required

Facility Information

Chandler Regional Medical Center is a Trauma Level 1, acute care setting. You will use the Cerner charting system and wear navy scrubs.
