Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Acute care setting
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate respiratory therapy plans
• Perform diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
• May be required to work flexible hours before and after standard shifts and overtime exceeding 40 hours per work week
• Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy
• Chart using EPIC electronic medical records system
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Must have completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP)
• Must be within 60-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
