Respiratory Therapist Job in Roosevelt, UT

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist at Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt, Utah. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of September 14, 2026. You will work 3x12 rotating night shifts and earn $2,102.40 per week.

In this role, you will provide respiratory care services under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager. Your responsibilities include:

• Treat, manage, control, and perform diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
• Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately upon entering the emergency care system
• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and factors influencing patient flow
• Communicate with emergency department physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions following specific physician orders, department policies, and procedures
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, and the community

Required qualifications:

• Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Valid and active NBRC Credential in good standing

Preferred qualifications:

• AARC/USRC Membership

You must be an Allied Health Professional with a Respiratory Therapist credential. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in an acute-care setting while maintaining schedule flexibility with rotating night shifts.
