PCU Registered Nurse Job in Kearney, NE

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Kearney Regional Medical Center, a 21-bed acute care setting with Trauma Level 3 designation. This role offers the opportunity to provide skilled nursing care in a structured environment where you can develop expertise in progressive care and telemetry monitoring.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: October 19, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,540.16

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the PCU, including post-Cath Lab patients
• Float to Med Surg as primary float unit; may float to ICU for PCU patient status changes only
• Manage up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6-week period
• Chart using EPIC system

Required Experience and Certifications

• PCU or Telemetry experience required
• Experience with post-Cath Lab patients required
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS
• BSN not required
