ED RN Job in San Antonio, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract position in the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital Landmark in San Antonio, Texas. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM on a rotating weekend schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $1,674
• Start date: September 23, 2026
• 9-bed Emergency Department
• Patient ratio: 4 patients to 1 RN
• Unit staffed with 17 total staff members across shifts
• EMR system: Meditech
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and ESI assessments
• Medication administration and IV insertion
• EKG and cardiac monitoring
• Trauma and emergency stabilization
• Moderate sedation management

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Proficiency in triage, ESI assessment, emergency assessment, and medication administration
• Ability to manage critical patients in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Trauma and stroke care
• Moderate sedation management
