Telemetry RN Job in Wilmington, NC

Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with a patient ratio of 1:5–6, caring for adult and geriatric patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.

Compensation & Duration

• Weekly pay: $1,985
• Contract length: 91 days; 36–48 hour weekly contracts accepted; longer assignments of 13–26 weeks available
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers considered)
• BLS certification
• Pass EKG testing prior to start
• Charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Shift Details

• Every other weekend required
• Float assignments as needed
• Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignment; may be required to work during catastrophic events or mass casualty situations
• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Blood product administration
• Heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Non-invasive airway management
• PCA and peripheral line care/management
• Insulin drip titration
• Wound care and wound vac management
• Isolation precautions and PPE
