Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 5x8 hour shifts scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Low STEMI call required with on-call rotation every 3rd week, approximately once per week
• Weekend coverage required when on call
• Charting system: EPIC
• Work setting: Cath Lab
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 rooms
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience required
• SC State License required prior to start (SCRQSA)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT or RCIS/CCI; if RCIS, SCRQSA and SCBME are required
• Additional certifications preferred: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT CI, ARRT VI, CCI RCIS
• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), PTCA, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Sterile Technique, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Impella Insertion, Temporary Pacemaker, TAVR, Angioplasty, Aortography, Embolization, Renal Angiography, Carotid Angiography and Stenting, Central Venous Access, Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, EVAR, and TEVAR
• Charting system experience required
• Must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• 2 supervisory references required
• Keep requested time off to a minimum, with no requests during the first two weeks of assignment; expect to work some holidays
