Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Perform computerized tomography procedures including invasive procedures under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
• Operate a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice scanner and various specialized equipment
• Position and instruct patients and determine technical factors for exposure
• Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films
• Consistently provide safe, quality patient care
• Required to take call
• Must be a graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology and hold a registered ARRT certification
• Knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy required
• Minimum two years of diagnostic experience preferred
• Must possess computer skills and demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist level
• Must be able to move 40 pounds six feet, reach overhead holding 25 pounds, and pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Must be able to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Requires good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity to operate delicate equipment
• Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment
