Med Surg RN Job in Lincoln, NE

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at CHI Health St Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,339
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
• No on-call or standby requirements

Unit Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6–7 with CNA support at the same ratio
• Virtual nurse support available at 1:30 ratio as part of dyad care model
• Floating to PCU or Burn unit as needed
• Patient diagnoses include medical, surgical, and orthopedic cases
• Heparin drips are the only titratable drip used on the unit
• Telemetry monitoring available with centralized telemetry station
• Respiratory therapy available 24 hours on the floor
• Charge nurse present on each shift with an assignment

Orientation & Requirements

• One week of classroom training followed by two 12-hour shifts on the floor
• Must pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
• Required certification: BLS
• BSN not required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
