Telemetry RN Job in Lebanon, PA

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Med Surg/Telemetry unit in Lebanon, PA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (approximately 6–7 weekend shifts per contract)
• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day)
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,133

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse across all shifts
• Float to all Med Surg floors and potentially rehab as needed
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedics, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis
• Occasional stable open-heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU (typically day 4–5 post-op)
• Will float to floors managing stroke patients and peritoneal dialysis patients

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care and management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, wound care and wound vac, tracheostomy care, and dysrhythmia management
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience and community hospital experience preferred

Facility Support

• 1 day of orientation before taking assignments
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Special equipment includes Artisight Virtual Nurses and Virtual Sitters
• Interdisciplinary support: physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
