Telemetry RN Job in Conroe, TX

You'll work as an RN on a 24-bed telemetry unit at HCA Houston Conroe, where you'll provide direct patient care and monitoring in a structured team environment.

• Role and responsibilities: Monitor patients on telemetry systems, perform procedures including Foley insertion, peripheral IV placement, and blood draws, and initiate code stroke protocols as needed. You'll use the MEDITECH electronic medical records system and work with a consistent team structure.
• Staffing and ratios: Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 secretary. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 3 PCTs. Your patient ratio will be 1:5–6.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), with every other weekend required. You may float to PCU and Med-Surg units as needed.
• Certifications and competencies: Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIH competency is required. BSN and additional certification are preferred.
• Assignment details: This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,791.
• Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs.
