Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Austin, TX

You'll join Heart Hospital of Austin as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day shift role running 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, structured as 4x10-hour shifts, offering you consistent scheduling and a weekly pay rate of $2,480.

What You'll Do

• Perform standard diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac cases in a high-volume, 3-lab unit
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during your shifts
• Work within a day shift team of 9 staff members plus a supervisor
• Operate Philips equipment and document in the Meditech EMR system
• Provide on-call support, averaging 9 days per month, with weekend on-call averaging 1 weekend per month
• Participate in a 3-person night shift call team as needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification (for technologists)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
