Telemetry RN Job in Simpsonville, SC

Prisma Health Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit in Simpsonville, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,972.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 days
• Patient ratios: 4–5:1 days, 6:1 nights
• Float required to other like units or nearby hospitals as needed
• Duration: 91 days

Patient Population & Diagnoses

You will care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including orthopedics and bariatric conditions on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing; 3 years within specialty required for first-time travelers
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Peripheral line care and management
• Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation

Required Certifications & Credentials

• Active South Carolina RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification

Facility Resources

Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The unit uses Pyxis for medication management.
