CT Technologist Job in Jacksonville, FL

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend built into the schedule. This is a float position supporting a mobile unit that deploys to the field for emergencies, with on-call requirements as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures on patients of all ages
• Maintain competency in a minimum of two imaging modalities
• Communicate exam procedures clearly to patients
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including Canon CT scanners
• Document procedures accurately in the EPIC (Radiant) EMR system
• Support emergency response imaging needs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT certification in CT (ARRT (CT)(R))
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Florida State Department of Health radiologic technology license
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline program

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,629
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• No block scheduling
• 50-mile radius rule applies

You must be willing to work as a dual modality technologist with experience in both CT and X-ray. Proficiency with computer systems and basic equipment troubleshooting is essential. Canon CT scanner experience is preferred but not required.
