ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (start time may flex)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday shifts required
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 11-bed emergency department with 1 trauma bay averaging 35 patients per day
• Charting completed using EPIC EMR system
• Operate PB980 ventilators
• First to float within unit; may be required to float throughout Region II facilities when needed, with an additional $20/hour when floated to a non-primary facility
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Phlebotomists available for lab draws; IV team available during business hours
• 1 ED provider on-site 24 hours per day
• Charge nurse available on unit
• Critical Access Hospital setting
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC
