Operating Room RN Job in Alexandria, VA

Join Alexandria Hospital as an Operating Room RN on a travel assignment. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week, with no block scheduling options. This is a focused OR role where you'll scrub and circulate across a busy 11-suite operating room performing 25 to 35 cases daily.

Your responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in the operating room across multiple specialty areas
• Support case types including Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast
• Work with the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in on-call shifts: 2 to 4 call shifts per 6-week period, including overnight and weekend shifts, with possible holiday on-call if it falls within your contract dates
• No floating to other units expected

What you bring:

• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts with flexibility for on-call obligations
