OR RN Job in Falls Church, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 110-day travel assignment at Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA. You'll join a dynamic 28-room operating room environment handling 75–90 cases per day, with a strong focus on neurosurgical and complex spine cases.

Role Overview

As an OR RN, you will provide direct patient care in the operating room, supporting neuro and trauma surgical teams. You must have at least 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma OR with demonstrated expertise in neuro and ortho spine procedures. Strong experience with simple single-level spine fusions through complex 10+ level deformity corrections, spine tumors, complex cranial tumors, neurovascular cases, and neuro trauma is required. RN scrubbing skills are ideal.

Schedule and Commitment

• Rotating 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per schedule (days and rotating nights)
• Days vary with no set schedule; rotation to nights is required
• Weekday on-call: 2 eight-hour shifts per schedule (11:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Weekend on-call: 3 twelve-hour shifts per schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• 45-minute response time required for on-call shifts
• 8 hours guaranteed per day
• Holiday requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday (call shift only), depending on contract timing
• May be called in to support multiple trauma cases as part of the neuro/cranial call team

Work Environment

You will float to other service lines in Tower OR as needed. The facility uses Epic as its EMR system. This is a high-acuity setting with complex surgical cases requiring precision, focus, and strong clinical judgment.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• 2+ years OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Strong neuro and spine surgical background

Compensation

Weekly pay: $1,071. Assignment begins September 21, 2026.
