ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Longer assignments available through 01/02/2027
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Unable to approve time off around Labor Day
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include Level I Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke, and Chest Pain (STEMI) Center
• Must have experience with triage and Level I and Level II Trauma Centers
• Experience with pediatric patients required (does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric ER)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Must have either 1 year of Level 1 trauma facility experience or 2 years of Level 2 trauma facility experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (may submit with TNCC pending but must have before start)
• Virginia nursing license required; pending licenses accepted
• BSN preferred
