Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required for new graduate RNs; minimum 2 years of experience required for seasoned RNs
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage all acute emergencies presenting to the department
• Work within a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center designated facility
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Community hospital experience preferred; Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC (required within 90 days of start date)
• California RN license required
• Key clinical skills include: triage, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, IV vasopressors, central line care and management, blood product administration, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and management of behavioral health conditions
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, and phlebotomy
• Lift equipment available on unit
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; only 1 holiday per contract may be requested
