Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You'll work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required and holidays as needed. There is no on-call responsibility for this role.

Assignment Details

• 48-hour guaranteed hours required; 36-hour guarantee is not available
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation included
• Unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted
• Must be willing to float to any Medical-Surgical unit
• Block scheduling is not available
• You must have your own vehicle for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required at profile upload; the facility will not pend certifications
• Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be uploaded with your profile
• Medical-Surgical skills checklist current within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment

Time-Off Policy

All requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission. RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. You must be willing to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,432. Assignment begins October 26, 2026.
