Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary Med Surg position in Pittsfield, MA. You will work the night shift on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,332.80 weekly for a 91-day assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Role Details

• 8-hour shifts with a non-billable orientation period
• Every other weekend required; holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio typically 1:6
• Unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds
• Personal scrubs of any color required
• Must have your own vehicle for this assignment

Scheduling & Time Off

• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be noted at time of submission; requests after offer may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• You must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after

Requirements

• 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Massachusetts RN license required and must be uploaded with your profile
