Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a Cardiac/Neuro Med Surg unit (3 East) at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts at $2,432 weekly pay.

Unit Details

• Unit size: 20–34 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Every other weekend required; holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Personal scrubs of any color
• Willingness to float required

Experience & Certifications

• 4+ years of current Med Surg, Cardiac, or Neuro experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required at profile upload
• Massachusetts RN license required and must be uploaded with profile
• Skills checklist with high proficiency in Cardiac/Neuro patients, completed within the past year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Important Notes

• Straight Med Surg travelers without Cardiac/Neuro experience are ineligible
• You must have your own vehicle for this assignment
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• All requested time off must be noted at submission; RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• Maximum 5 days of RTO accepted
• Holiday coverage requires working two of the following: Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after, or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the Friday/weekend after
