PCU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift. You will care for PCU and general telemetry-monitored medical patients using a universal bed model, floating between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center campuses as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with diverse physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians promptly
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team
• Delegate activities to licensed and non-licensed personnel while maintaining oversight
• Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the work area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Position details: Three 12-hour night shifts per week. 89-day contract beginning November 2, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,559. Your schedule will vary based on unit needs.
