ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 hour shifts, days
• 36/48 hour alternating block schedule with 84 hours scheduled biweekly
• 72-hour guarantee
• Weekly pay: $2,099.52
• Weekend coverage required

Role Details

You will work in a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department with a daily census of 190 and 62 rooms. Patient ratio is 4:1. You will care for patient age groups spanning neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required; 3 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• High-volume or trauma facility experience preferred
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted

Required Clinical Skills

• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• IV vasopressors
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Management of dysrhythmias
• 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Triage
• Phlebotomy
• Splint application
• Starting and maintaining IVs

Support Services

Interdisciplinary support is available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, interpretation services, and unit secretary support.
