Telemetry RN Job in Flagstaff, AZ

Flagstaff Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the Med/Surg Tele units. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. This 91-week assignment begins August 31, 2026, and offers a weekly pay rate of $2,047.68.

Shift & Schedule Details

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week; facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratios of 1:5 on nights

Responsibilities

• Float between two Med/Surg Tele units and the Cardiac Monitoring Room as needed
• May float to Cardiac/Observation, Stroke, Ortho/Trauma, Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, and Palliative/Peritoneal Dialysis/Thyroid Ablation units
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census ranges from 20 to 28 depending on assigned unit

Equipment & Charting

• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Standard Med/Surg Tele equipment including bladder scanner, IV ultrasound placement equipment, EKG machine, mechanical lift system in each patient room, remote telemetry monitoring, and interpreter cart/phones with onsite Navajo interpreters
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Well-rounded travelers preferred; ICU/PCU experience a plus but strong Med/Surg Tele experience will be considered
