ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with alternating shifts: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5 serving adult and geriatric populations with all emergency type diagnoses
• Floating within skillset required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required (hard requirement)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• New York single state RN license required (NY is not Compact) - must be in hand at time of submission
• Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Required clinical skills include: IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs; IV vasopressors; CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management; CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI care; cardiac monitoring including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; emergency care for adult and pediatric patients including gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma; isolation precautions and triage
• Special equipment includes: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• RTO requests must be submitted upon submission and cannot exceed 10 days
