ED RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, a Level I trauma center in Rochester, New York. This position offers a 48-hour per week schedule with rotating day, evening, and night shifts across a fast-paced adult emergency department that manages more than 100,000 patient visits annually.

Position Details:

• 48 hours per week, 4x12 rotating shift schedule
• No on-call requirement at this hour commitment
• Floating, weekend, and holiday shifts required based on unit needs
• Charge responsibilities as assigned by unit needs
• Assist with boarder patients as needed

Clinical Environment:

You will care for a diverse adult patient population in a high-volume Level I trauma center. The emergency department operates at significant capacity, requiring nurses who can manage acuity and complexity while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Requirements:

• Current New York RN license
• Minimum two years of emergency department experience
• Previous travel emergency department experience
• Telemetry experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification

Compensation and Duration:

This is an 89-day assignment beginning November 9, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,917.
