Emergency Department RN Job in Utica, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour day shift position in the Emergency Department at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This is an 89-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,952.

Position Details

• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 64-bed Emergency Department with triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds
• Floating to other units is required
• Navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Care for patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Manage SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) patients
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Charge nurse duties as needed

Requirements

• Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatrics exposure
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at submission)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
