Emergency Department RN Job in Utica, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This is an 89-day travel assignment starting November 2, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekly pay: $2,556
• Facility: 64-bed emergency department with triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds
• Navy blue scrubs required

Role Expectations

• Provide direct patient care across all age groups—newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Float as assigned across unit sections
• Care for SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) patients
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Manage patients with common ED diagnoses: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Charge nurse capability is highly preferred

Qualifications Required

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience with some pediatric experience
• Travel healthcare experience required
• EPIC EMR experience
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand at time of submission)
